Fishing, hiking, drifting down the river, exploring by road and meeting first nations are all activities you can enjoy while you discover the area. How you mix these activities up is your choice but we recommend them all, (although if you feel like spending the whole trip by the river with your rod in hand we wouldn't blame you!) trying everything will give you a real taste of what this fantastic place has to offer.
As far as wildlife spotting goes there are plenty of impressive animals out there for you to meet - at least from a distance - grizzly and black bear, wolves, cougars, bald eagles, mountain goat the list goes on. There is also excellent fishing with salmon, trout and opportunities for ocean fishing too.
