DOG SLED ADVENTURE
Welcome to the cold edge of the world, this is arctic nature at its rawest and most powerful. Sledge out into the wilderness with your own dog team, keep an eye out for polar bears and appreciate the pristine beauty of the area.
You are headed for the ship in the ice, a days journey out of Longyearbyen travelling through the white wilderness of Svalbard. All necessary training will be given so don't worry if you've never mushed before. You spend two nights at the ship, travelling out one day, spending the next day exploring the area by sled and then travelling back the next day.
The ship makes for an amazing place to stay, every year it is sailed out to the fjord and left to freeze in the ice where it stays for the winter. Once the ice breaks up the ship is available for trips around the Islands - something to think about for the summer!
