CHILE | TORRES DEL PAINE LODGE TO LODGE HIKE
Traverse the backtracks and the well trod paths of the magnificent Torres del Paine National Park at the end of the South American continent in comfort.
This is the only trip of it's kind for those who prefer not to camp or stay in the busy mountain refugios but prefer home comforts with en-suite bathrooms and resting tired feet in front of a log fire.
The trek is short enough for those who have limited time but takes in all the icons of the park....the Towers, Grey Glacier and Lago Grey and the lesser known 'up and over' hike across the heart of the park finishing at an authentic estancia for a taste of real Patagonian organic home cooking.
Just two nights spent in a hotel in the park but this can easily be upgraded to a luxury eco yurt overlooking the powder blue glacial waters of Lago del Toro.
Five nights in the National Park with four days trekking and two days travelling across the Patagonian Steppe from Punta Arenas.
Hikes are fairly challenging covering between 10 and 15 km per day. But fully supported with just your daypack to carry. Personal English speaking experiencd guide at all times.
A perfect trip for couples or friends travelling together.
It can be almost nigh impossible to arrange a trip like this that offers the flexibility of staying at a range of authentic accommodation across the length and breadth of the park whilst trekking by foot inbetween.
