MOBILE SAFARI - MOREMI, KHWAI & CHOBE
This trip allows you to travel across northern Botswana in search of the best scenic and wildlife encounters avaliable. Experience 3 contrasting areas in 9 days, see lions and leopards, large herds of migrating zebra and many species of beautiful kingfishers and bee-eaters.
During this trip you will visit the Moremi Game reserve in the Okavango Delta, which comprises an area of 3,900 square kilometers and is situated on the Eastern section of the Okavango Delta. It is a unique ecosystem and one of the greatest game reserves in all of Africa.
Khwai Private Concession is a community run private concession, which forms the eastern border of the Moremi Game Reserve along the river Khwai. This river is the sole source of water for miles around attracting wildlife from afar. As this is a community run project all proceeds collected from tourism goes directly to help fund the Khwai Community Trust.
Finally the Chobe National Park is 11,000 square kilometers, making it Botswana's third largest wildlife area. The Chobe River area is where your camp will be situated and is renowned for its large animal populations.
These three areas each have different attractions and as a result this combination gives the opportunity for quality and varied game viewing. Game drives are conducted from canopied Land cruisers and you will stay in tented camps, allowing you to better remain in contact with nature even while asleep.
You will be accompanied by the best guides and naturalists available making this trip even more special. They will get you to the big game, but will also point out the smaller, more unassuming or rarer creatures which are just as interesting as their more famous neighbours.
