NORTH COAST KAYAK SAFARI
The northern coast of Tanzania has seen relatively few visitors and therefore remains a quiet and pristine area for exploration. See this beautiful coastline from a new perspective, by travelling by kayak you are far more connected to the landscape, weather and wildlife of the area than you would be in larger or more motorised vehicle.
After arriving in Arusha you transfer to Tanga where you will be picked up by your guide and taken to your base, a lodge set right on the beach metres away from the sea. You will spend the next 3 days kayaking the coastline around your base. You will have the opportunity to snorkel, visit traditional fishing villages, discover distant coves and mangrove forests, get close to the local wildlife and perhaps paddle to the Kenyan border.
No motors, only the sound of your paddles dipping in and out of the water and the waves lapping against your kayak break the peace. Stop for a picnic lunch in a deserted cove and watch dolphins play in the waves before moving on for an afternoons paddling. This is being outdoors at its fufilling best.
