LAMU DEEP SEA FISHING
Pit yourself against some of the best game fish in the world in beautiful surrounding in the Lamu area. Sail out into the beautiful blue of the ocean where some of the oceans most spectacular predators wait for you.
With two deep sea fishing boats at your disposal and with your base ideally placed to exploit the excellent variety of species on offer, you are ready for some serious sport fishing! Marlin, Swordfish, Sailfish, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, Kingfish and Giant Trevally are all available here along with many other species for a truly exceptional fishing experience.
If you bore of deep sea fishing there is also plenty of opportunities to go fly fishing, both inshore and further out. Finally there is also creek fishing, all guests are welcome to take a rod and try their luck. Trevally, King fish and Barracuda are all plentiful in the creek as are Rock Cod, Garfish and Red and White Snapper.
North Kenya’s fishing season runs from September through to the end of April and is at its best from November to mid March when billfish are most prevalent here.
At the end of the day you can come back to your lodge by the ocean, relax with a drink in hand, watch the sunset and relive your previous adventures with friends and family - no exaggeration necessary!
