OKAVANGO DELTA HORSE RIDING SAFARI
Visit one of Africa's most unique wilderness areas, full of wildlife and spectacular scenery. The Okavango Delta is the end of a river that discharges into an inland basin instead of the sea. The resulting oasis in the generally arid lands of Botswana attracts a variety of wildlife from miles around, making it a game viewing hotspot.
By exploring on horseback you can access areas that vehicles cannot. Riding through the area also has the benefit of allowing you to get closer to the game and feel more at one with your surroundings, it is also extremely exciting - galloping through the water alongside giraffe is a pretty amazing experience by any standards!
During this safari you will travel between 2 bush camps exploring the Okavango Delta and getting close to the wildlife that lives there. Moving between the camps allows for a more varied experience and a greater appreciation of the Delta and its inhabitants. Each day you will ride out in search of new adventures and unseen animals in the company of your extremely knowledgeable guides - who knows what you might find!
This is a trip for experienced riders only, as you are riding in a wilderness area amongst big game you must have a sure seat and be comfortable at all paces in case you need to move out of danger quickly. You should also be a regular rider.
