SOUTH LUANGWA CYCLING SAFARI
A more active way of getting out and seeing what the South Luangwa National Park has to offer. This is for energetic people tired of travelling in vehicles and in need of something more dynamic than walking.
This trip is based in the South Luangwa National Park at a beautiful lodge. This is a flexible trip with guests free to do as much or as little biking as they wish. You ride out each day ccompanied by a guide and an armed escort scout following tracks and paths in the Game Management Area adjacent to Tafika. Sorties along the main roads through the National Park may also be undertaken. Animals regularly seen from the bikes include elephant, buffalo, impala, puku, warthog and zebra.
This offers something a little different from your usual safari and allows you to break free from motor vehicles with their noise and fumes. You get to explore the park, getting close to its wildlife and with beautiful scenery as a backdrop. On your return to the lodge relax with a well deserved drink.
